Octavia Saenz is a Puerto Rican multi-disciplinary artist based in El Paso, TX. She received her BFA in Illustration and Creative Writing in 2019 from Ringling College of Art + Design, where she was Trustee Scholar in her program. She was also a 2018 Lambda Literary Fellow. Acting as editor along with Sarah Fonseca, Octavia Saenz will publish the anthology The New Lesbian Pulp with Feminist Press in August of 2025.
Octavia primarily works in watercolors and ink to create illustrations and visual narratives on themes of land, lesbianism, and environmental violence.
